Share data across the team and a web companion while the master database stays local and under your control.
Teams need to share data without a cloud owning it. Cloud sync moves changes with an inbox/outbox and conflict handling, the Android field application brings the rig back into the same database, and a read-only web companion lets head office view and analyse — while the desktop master database remains authoritative.
Exchange runs over USB, a shared WiFi network or a hotspot hosted by the phone itself — the last option matters on sites where no shared network exists or where IT policy forbids one. Packages are signed with a security token, and only the tables you select cross over.
Head office opens the read-only web companion to see today’s assays; the geologist keeps editing the master database on the desktop — the two never fight over the truth.
