Where is our data stored — do we have to use the cloud?
No. GeoMate is local-first: your desktop database (MS Access or SQL Server) is the single source of truth and stays on your infrastructure. The cloud is an optional synced mirror for field and web access — you decide if and when to use it.
Can we start on Access and move to SQL Server later?
Yes. The schema is backend-agnostic and a built-in migrator moves an Access project to SQL Server without changing tools or re-training your team — the junior-to-major growth path many teams need.
Is the QAQC audit-ready for JORC / NI 43-101?
GeoMate ships 25+ validation rules across collar, survey, interval, assay, recovery and structure, plus standards/blanks/duplicates control charts and an audit report builder designed for JORC and NI 43-101 reporting.
Does it work offline in the field?
Yes. The desktop app is fully offline, and the Android field app captures logs and photos on site, then syncs back over WiFi or USB when a connection is available — no permanent internet required.
